COLUMBIA, Mo. – Men's Cross Country returned to action on Friday night with a second-place finish at the Larry Young Invite hosted by Columbia College. 

Two top 10 finishers paced the Raven Men as David Mnnella earned fifth place and Gabriel Friess earned ninth place.

The remaining scorers for the Ravens were Thaddeus Friess (12th), Joseph Accurso (15th), and Luke Godard (28th).

The Ravens averaged a finish of 26:37 as a team, taking their second-place result out of a 13-team field.

Benedictine returns to action on October 1, traveling to Louisville, Ky., to participate in the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic.
