SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Benedictine Men's Cross Country took fifth place on Saturday at the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Classic.
The Ravens competed in a field of 11 programs. Dordt earned a first place paced the field, primarily composed of NAIA programs. Doane University placed second, followed by Concordia (Neb.) University and Bellevue University ahead of Benedictine.
For the Ravens, they placed three runners in the top 25 paced by the 12th place finish of Thomas Campbell. Campbell finished the 8k course in a time of 25:39. He was joined by Joseph Accurso (18th), Sebastian Michael (22nd), Micah Munoz (36th), Johnny Joyce (43rd), Nicholas Kling (53rd), and Avery Cozzi (59th).
The team is off through Oct. 26 when they will travel to Ashland, Neb., for the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic hosted by Doane University.
