CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Benedictine Men's Country earned a third-place finish on Saturday in the annual Heart Championships hosted by Mount Mercy University.

The Ravens scored 83 points to return with their result, behind Heart Champion Mount Mercy University with 69 points and just two points shy of Park University in second place with 81 points. 

Benedictine was led by Micah Munoz, who took 11th place in 25:22. He was followed by Joseph Accurso in 12th, Sebastian Michael in 14th, Gabriel Joerger in 22nd, Avery Cozzi in 24th, Johnny Joyce in 25th, and Nicholas Kling in 30th.

Munoz and Accurso both earned All-Heart honorable mention honors for their individual results in the event.
