BALDWIN CITY – Benedictine Men's Track earned a third-place finish on Saturday at the annual Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Baker University.
The Ravens scored 110.5 points to finish behind Heart Champions Central Methodist with 154.5 points and William Penn with 117 points.
The Raven Men earned 23 All-Heart selections. David Mannella was an individual event champion in the 1,500 meters and was also part of the 4x800 meter relay team along with Daniel Rogge, Philip Joseph, and Thomas Campbell who also earned a first-place result.
The following awards will be announced later today, Heart Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, Track Athlete of the Meet, and Field Athlete of the Meet.
The top three finishers in each event will be considered 2024 Heart Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference athletes with first place equal to First Team, second place equal to Second Team and third place equal to Third Team. Fourth, fifth, and sixth-place finishers in each event will be considered the 2024 Heart Outdoor Track & Field Honorable Mention All-Conference.

The third-place finish caps off a successful academic year for the Men's program after they earned Heart titles in both the Cross Country and Indoor Track Championships.
