DES MOINES, Iowa – Benedictine Men's Cross Country returned to action with a dominating performance at the Grandview Viking Invitational.
The Ravens scored 22 points to take top honors, finishing with five runners in the top 10 individually.
Thomas Campbell finished in first place with a time of 27:00.05. Sebastian Michael was next in second place with a time of 27:20.4. Johnny Joyce (fourth), Nicholas Kling (sixth) and Joseph Accurso (ninth) gave the Ravens their top scorers counting towards the 22-point finish.
The Ravens will travel to Columbia, Mo., on Friday to compete in the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri. The course is the host site for the annual NAIA Cross Country National Championships contested in November.
