KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Cross Country moved up to No. 19 on Thursday as the NAIA released the third Top 25 Coaches' Poll of the regular season.
Benedictine garnered 196 points and moved up from No. 21 in the second poll.
After starting the season as the first team listed in the receiving votes category, the Ravens have been ranked in all three polls released during the regular season. They first appeared at No. 23 in the first poll on Sept. 25, and then moved to No. 21 on Oct. 2.
Benedictine is the only program from the Heart to appear in the third poll. Missouri Baptist (30 points) and Mount Mercy (19 points) are listed in the others receiving votes category this week.
The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Oct. 25, when they travel to Ashland, Neb., to compete in the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic hosted by Doane. That competition will be the program's final tune up for the annual Heart Women's Cross Country Championships on Nov. 8 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, hosted by Mount Mercy.
