TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Benedictine Cross Country took on the field at the annual NAIA Cross Country National Championships on Friday. The Raven Women earned 16th while the Raven Men – who qualified five individual runners and were scored as a team – earned 33rd.
The Raven Women, who entered the event ranked 15th, were paced by Cecila Campos in 72nd. The Ravens earned four top 100 finishes with Helen Ullrich next at 75th, Elizabeth Skendzel in 77th and Catherine Aaron in 100th. Emilie Nelson (111th), Jeanna Marie Lotz (139th) and Josie Jensen (140th) also competed in the race for the Ravens.
Will Niederee paced the Raven Men, finishing in 93rd. Brendan Alfonso (110), John Joyce (194th), Micah Munoz (204th) and Joseph Accurso (210th) rounded out the scorer for the Ravens.
