KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the list of 2025-26 Scholar Teams on Monday as part of the Association's annual Awards Day.
Benedictine placed 15 teams on the list of Scholar Teams who are awarded the honor for earning an overall team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. This is the second year that 15 teams have been honored.
"We are excited to see so many of our teams on this list," said Benedictine Athletic Director Charlie Gartenmayer. "Congratulations to those student-athletes who helped their programs earn this recognition, and to the coaches and support staff that have helped those student-athletes succeed in both the classroom and in competition."
Benedictine Women's Soccer earned the highest team GPA of those honored, finishing last year with a 3.66 GPA. Women's Cross Country was close behind at 3.65 while Men's Cross Country and Volleyball tied for the third-highest team GPA with a 3.54 GPA.
Joining those four programs on the list was Women's Outdoor Track & Field, Women's Indoor Track, Competitive Dance, Women's Basketball, Men's Indoor Track, Men's Outdoor Track & Field, Softball, Competitive Cheer, Men's Soccer, Men's Lacrosse and Baseball.
For the 2024-25 academic year, the overall GPA for Raven Athletics was 3.179, with the certified NAIA programs overall team GPA stood at 3.111.
