Raven Athletics earns 46 Spring NAIA Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As the regular season concludes across the various Spring sports, the NAIA has announced the annual Scholar Athlete Teams for Baseball, Softball, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse and Track & Field.

Benedictine's Spring sports earned 47 total NAIA Scholar Athlete honors this season.

"We are thrilled for the student-athletes on this list," said Benedictine Athletic Director Charlie Gartenmayer. "Those who have been recognized this Spring continue to display the characteristics of a Raven that allow them to succeed both in the classroom while competing at a high level in their sport."

To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.

The Heart of America Athletic Conference led all conferences this spring with 711 total NAIA Scholar Athletes.
