KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Benedictine College Sports Information Office was recognized this week with four awards announced the NAIA Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA). The honors come from the 2026 NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest.
"It's great to have others within your industry recognize the efforts that go into creating the various sports information-related elements throughout the year," said Benedictine Assistant AD/Sports Information Director Josh Pound. "To have our office recognized reinforces that our efforts are worth it, so that our fans and media remain informed throughout the year."
Raven Athletics brought up home two awards in Sport Poster Contest and Game Notes Contest.
Athletic Content Creator Cooper Pound was recognized for his poster design. The 2025 Football Schedule Poster took top honors while the 2025 Volleyball Schedule Poster took second place.
Two sets of football game notes, created by the Sports Information Office, placed seventh and ninth respectively.
Assistant AD Pound earned a first-place honor in the Sport Poster Contest for his 2022 Football Schedule Poster.
The NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest is voted on by the Publications Committee for each of the 18 categories that recognize poster design, game notes, game day programs, feature writing, game recaps, season previews/reviews, event/accolades/breaking news infographics, gamed graphics, motion graphics – video embedded & gifs – websites, splash pages, wallpapers, publicity videos, feature videos, season highlights and game highlights.
