KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Earlier this week as part of its National Awards Day, the NAIA announced the list of Scholar Teams for the 2025-26 academic year and 15 program from Raven Athletics were recognized for their academic efforts throughout last school year.
"I want to congratulate our student-athletes and coaches with the programs who have been named NAIA Scholar Teams," said Benedictine College Athletic Director Charlie Gartenmayer. "We celebrate your successes and we challenge all of our student-athletes and coaches to continue to increase our number for the new academic year."
As a department, our programs finished the 2025-26 academic year with an overall GPA of 3.215 that included a record number of Heart Scholar-Athlete selections as well.
Benedictine Women's Cross Country earned the top GPA out of the department with a 3.55 GPA. The top overall men's program was the Men's Cross Country program at 3.43. Here is the complete list of 2025-26 NAIA Scholar Teams:

Benedictine Athletics placed 15 teams on the NAIA Scholar Team list for the 2024-25 academic year as well.
