The No. 16-ranked Raven women's basketball team limited Graceland University to 18 field goals on Thursday night en route to a 69-48 win inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.

Benedictine (19-3, 9-1 HAAC) jumped out to a 18-point lead at the half over Graceland (2-16, 0-10 HAAC) on the heels of a 45.2 percent shooting effort in the first 20 minutes of play.

After Graceland's Jerica Smith tied the game at three points inside the first two minutes, Benedictine went on a 17-4 run to open the game up.

Seven of the Ravens 14 first-half field goals were from beyond the arc as the Ravens hit 7 of 15 3-pointers.

Raven guard Justice Payne (Jr., Stillwater, Okla.) tied her season high of five 3-pointers by the half, hitting 5 of 10 from beyond the arc.

In the second half, Benedictine continued to control the game. Graceland pulled with 14 points five minute into the second half but couldn't get any closer as the Ravens limited them to just five field goals over the final 15 minutes of the game.

The Ravens bench outscored the Yellowjackets 19-8.

Payne scored a game-high 17 points, converting five 3-pointers for the fourth time this season. Forward Erin Murphy added a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Defensively, the Ravens limited the Yellowjackets to 26.5 percent from the floor and just 19.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Smith led the Yellowjackets with 16 points.

The Ravens travel to Springfield, Mo., on Saturday for a HAAC match up at 2 p.m. against Evangel University.
