LAWRENCE – The Raven volleyball team turned consecutive wins into a four-game win steak on Friday and Saturday as they took on Stephens College and Haskell Indian Nations.

Friday night the Ravens earned a 3-0 sweep over Stephens and then wrapped up the weekend with a 3-0 sweep over Haskell on Saturday,

Against Stephens, the Ravens won 25-14, 27-15, 25-16.

The Ravens recorded 31 kills in the win and were led by the attack of Ashley Gray with 8 kills and Hannah Grazda with 7 kills.

Emilee Clark set up the Raven attack with 15 assists while Sarah Navinskey added 8.

Defensively, the Ravens were led on the back row by Lauren Eggen and Hannah O'Brien with 10 digs each. Grazda finished with five block assists on the front row.

Against Haskell, the Ravens earned a 25-18, 26-24, 25-22 win. The win over Haskell also allowed the Ravens to surpass their win total from a year ago.

Gray led the offensive attack, which tallied 43 kills, with 14 kills. Grazda was close behind with 13.

Clark finished with 22 assists while Navinskey added 11.

Eggen recorded 15 digs while Chelsea Beckman added 10.

Benedictine returns to HAAC play on Tuesday night with a trip to Fayette, Mo., to take on Central Methodist University.
