KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference selected its first group of fall sports Player of the Week honors on Tuesday and Benedictine's Jordan Francescon was in the group of winners to open up the new selection season.
Francescon tallied an 11-point week en route to helping the Ravens to a 2-0 start.
In the Ravens season-opening win over William Woods she scored three goals for the third time in her career. She followed that up on Thursday with a two goal effort in Benedictine's win over McPherson College. She also tallied an assist in the Ravens five-goal win over McPherson.
Francescon has now scored 22 goals in 42 matches over two-plus seasons with Benedictine.
She has now tallied a three-goal game in each season of action for Bendictine. In 2013, she scored three goals in a win over Ottawa University and in 2012 she scored three goals in a win over Friends University.
The Ravens host a pair of games this week, first on Tuesday against Park University and then at 5 p.m. Friday against Bethany College.
