The Raven Men's Basketball team takes on Missouri Valley College on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. as they look rebound from two tough road games last week.
Benedictine fell to Missouri Valley during the first match up the season back on Dec. 2 and the two teams are currently tied in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings along with Baker University.

Missouri Valley holds a 32-17 series lead after winning the match up in Marshall, Mo., 83-68, back on Dec. 2.
About Missouri Valley: The Vikings are going for the 10th regular-season sweep over the Ravens and their fourth straight win against Benedictine. The last time Missouri Valley swept the regular-season series with Benedictine was the 2009-2010 season. The Vikings are led by Raviel Burton, who averages15.3 ppg and 8.7 rebounds. He dropped 32 points and 12 rebounds in the first match up with the Ravens, knocking in 12 field goals. He also averages 1.1 blocks per game while ranking inside the Top 20 in NAIA Div. I in all three rebounding categories.
About Benedictine: In the Ryan Moody era of Raven basketball, the program has only lost three straight twice, and that came during Coach Moody's first season (2011-'12). Today's match up with the Vikings marks the third time this season, the Ravens are looking to avoid a losing streak. Benedictine is trying to salvage a regular-season split with Missouri Valley. The two teams have split their match ups 11 times headed into this season. Benedictine leads the Heart in scoring defense, limiting their opponents to 71.4 ppg this season. They also are tied for third in the Heart in field goal defense at 42.5 percent.
