KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second time this season, Courtney Parker has been recognized by the Heart of America Athletic Conference as the weekly Softball Player of the Week.

She was also named Softball Player of the Week back on Feb. 15.

Parker recorded at least two hits in all four games over the weekend as Benedictine went 4-0 against Peru State College and York College. She finished with two doubles, two home runs and drove in six runs while also stealing three bases.

Defensively she recorded 19 putouts and three assists in 22 chances behind the plate while catching the no-hit effort of Katie Ricklefs in the opener against York on Sunday.

The Ravens take their four-game winning streak on the road Tuesday as they travel to Olathe, Kan., to take on MNU at 4 nd 6 p.m. They return home on Saturday to host another Heart doubleheader with Missouri Valley College at 1 p.m. at the BC Softball Field inside the Asher Sports Complex.
