Women's Basketball wraps up for half of Heart schedule tonight

The No. 19-ranked Raven Women's Basektball team takes on Culver-Stockton College tonight at 5:30 p.m. after being delayed from Saturday afternoon.

Tonight's match up with the Wildcats marks the conclusion of the first half of the Heart of America Athletic Conference schedule.

The Match Up: No. 19 Benedictine (11-5, 10-2 Heart) vs. Culver-Stockton College (7-9, 5-7 Heart) - 5:30 p.m. - Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.

TIP OFF: The No. 19-ranked Ravens return home after a game on the road riding a four-game winning streak to start of 2017. ... Benedictine welcomes Culver-Stockton College in their first match up of the season with and the 52nd time since joining in the Hear. Benedictine leads the series 33-18 and is 16-2 against the Wildcats over their last 18 games. ... The two teams split their two games last season with Benedictine earning a 79-48 win over Culver inside the Nolan Gym on Jan. 23.

ABOUT BENEDICTINE: The Ravens are undefeated in Heart play at home this season with their only loss coming on Nov. 5 to Ottawa University in OT. ... Kristin Murphy is averaging 16.8 ppg over the Ravens current winning streak, just over a point higher than her season average. The Ravens have three players averaging in double figures at home this season with Murphy and Serena Parker each at 14.1 ppg while Ali Taff sits at 10.3.

ABOUT CULVER-STOCKTON: The Wildcats enter the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium losers of three of their last four. After finishing off 2016 with a pair of wins over William Penn and Haskell, Culver-Stockton is 1-3 in the Heart in 2017 with their lone win coming over Avila University on Jan. 7.

UP NEXT: Benedictine remains at home on Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. game with Graceland University as the Heart schedule turns over and hits the second half of the season.
