Men's Basketball looks for regular-season sweep over No. 24 Graceland

The Raven Men's Basketball team open up the second half of their Heart schedue tonight against No. 24 Graceland University as they look to earn the regular-season sweep over the Yellowjackets.

TIP OFF: The Ravens open the second half of the Heart season tonight as they take on newly-ranked No. 24 Graceland University. ... Tonight marks the 53rd meeting between the two schools since the 1992 season when the Ravens joined the Heart. Benedictine holds a 30-22 lead in the overall series. ... It took double overtime to decide the first meeting of the year between the two schools back on Nov. 16 with Benedictine earning a 95-92 win.

ABOUT BENEDICTINE: Benedictine is looking for their third win of 2017 as they host Graceland. The Ravens have lost three of five so far this semester. ... In the first meeting with Graceland, the Ravens shot 47.1 percent from the floor with a season high 13 3-pointers. ... Six Ravens finished in double figures led by the 16 points of Jake Schannuth, Andre Yates and CJ Vallejo.

ABOUT GRACELAND: Graceland enters play losers of two of their last three looking to earn back-to-back wins after beating Baker 81-78 on Jan. 12. ... The Yellowjackets are one of four teams in the top half of the Heart who aren't making the turn tonight having played 12 conference games. ... In the loss to BC, Graceland also hit 47.1 percent from the floor while making just seven 3-pointers. ... Carl Martin scored a game-high 19 points off the bench.

UP NEXT: Benedictine hits the road for a three-game swing starting on Saturday with a trip to Kansas City, Mo., to take on Avila University. Benedictine earned a 82-57 win over the Eagles back on Nov. 12 to open up their Heart schedule.
