KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Raven Men's Soccer team held its position for the second straight week as they remained at No. 20 in the sixth edition of the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Tuesday when the Association released the poll.
Benedictine (8-3-1) held its own last week against then-ranked No. 6 Baker University as they fell on the road 2-1.
The Ravens are one of six teams listed in this week's poll. Missouri Valley College remained at No. 2 while receiving one first-place vote. Baker moved up to No. 4 with 440 points, Central Methodist University moved up to No. 12 with 307 while the Ravens remained at No. 20 with 210 points. Grand View University moved into this week's poll at No. 22 with 145 points while MNU was able to hold on to a ranking at No. 25 after being ranked No. 9 in the fifth poll last week.
Benedictine travels to Des Moines on Wednesday to take on the No. 22-ranked Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday's match up for Benedictine will be their third match in Heart play against a fellow NAIA Top 25 opponent.
The Ravens return home on Saturday to host Culver-Stockton College at 7:30 p.m. Saturday marks the annual Peter Clevinger Scholarship Recognition with this year's recipient of the Clevinger Scholarship officially recognized before the match.
