Men's Soccer continues to move up in NAIA Coaches' Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Raven Men's Soccer team moved up to No. 17 in the eighth NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Tuesday as they earned 235 points.

Benedictine is 12-3-1 headed into the final week of the regular season and moved up from a No. 18 ranking in the seventh poll.

The Ravens are one of five teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference to earn a spot inside this week's poll. Baker University is ranked No. 4 with 448 points and is followed by Missouri Valley College at No. 5 with 414 points. Central Methodist University is ranked No. 13 with 312 points with the Ravens next. MNU rounds out the ranked Heart members as they sit at No. 20 with 185 points.

Grand View University fell out of the poll this week, but is still listed in the other's receiving votes category with 52 points.

After traveling to Evangel University for a Tuesday match, the Ravens will take on Mount Mercy University at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday to wrap up the regular season.

The Heart Postseason Tournament runs Oct. 31 through Nov. 10. The first round will be held on Oct. 31, followed by the Quarterfinals on Nov. 3, the Semifinals on Nov. 7 and the Heart Championship Match on Nov. 10. The top 10 teams in the final Heart standings will qualify for this year's tournament.

Headed into the final week of the season, the Ravens are currently sit in fifth in the Heart standings. The Ravens are a half-game behind MNU for fourth place in the standings and have the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Pioneers. They sit a game behind second place Missouri Valley and CMU.
