KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In a change from previous year's formats, the NAIA released the final regular-season Top 25 Women's Soccer Coaches' Poll on Tuesday and the Raven Women's Soccer team remained locked in at No. 18.
Benedictine (14-2-2) earned 225 points in the final poll, which was moved up a week from previous years and will not include any more matches the Ravens play in the Heart postseason.
Benedictine hosts Missouri Valley College tonight at 7 p.m. in the Heart Tournament Semifinals with a trip to the Heart Championship Match on the line.
The Ravens are one of two teams from the Heart ranked this week, as Heart Champion Central Methodist University also remained locked in at No. 11. Missouri Valley, who is the No. 3 seed in the Heart Tournament, was listed in the others' receiving votes category in this weeks poll with 10 points.
While there were a number of changes within the rankings this week, no team dropped out, which kept the same 25 teams ranked from the ninth poll of the regular season from last week. Among the teams ranked on the Ravens non-conference schedule, Jamestown (N.D.) is currently ranked No. 22 while Hastings College and William Woods University are listed in the receiving votes category.
Tonight's match will be streamed live on BRSN starting at 6:50 p.m.
