KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Methodist University snapped the Raven Men's Soccer team unbeaten streak on Saturday at six matches. Tuesday, the NAIA released the third regular-season Top 25 Coaches' Poll and the Ravens dropped to No. 20.
Benedictine (5-1-1) received 183 points this week to fall back from their previous ranking of No. 15 last week.
Benedictine is one five teams inside the Top 25 this week. The Ravens Wednesday night opponent, Missouri Valley College, leads the pack at No. 3. MNU and Baker University are back-to-back this week. MNU checks in at No. 6 with Baker at No. 7 separated by 31 points. Central Methodist used their upset over the Ravens to jump from the receiving votes category ahead of the Ravens as they moved to No. 16.
The Ravens return home Wednesday at 7:30 to take on Missouri Valley. They remain home on Saturday to host William Penn University at 7:30 p.m. as the final athletic event of the annual Family Weekend. Both matches will be streamed live on BRSNtv.
