The Raven Softball team hosted the return doubleheader against Heart South opponent (17) Baker University on Saturday at the BC Softball Field.
The Wildcats picked up a sweep behind a no-hitter from Olivia Brees in the opener as the Ravens fell 6-0 and 6-1.
Brees needed 105 pitches in her no-hit effort as she finished with 15 strikeouts against the Ravens.
Erin Ziebarth suffered the loss. She threw two and one-third giving up just two earned runs off five hits as defensively, the Ravens committed five errors.
In game two, the Ravens were able to match the Wildcats with six hits but could only manage one run against Baker's Skylar Gorrell. Abby Hyde and Molly Chevelier each recorded a double with Chevelier also recording an RBI. The Ravens stranded nine runners on base over seven innings.
Brianna Hoffman suffered the loss in game two. She gave up four runs off four hits over four and two-thirds while the Ravens defense committed four errors.
The Ravens return to action Sunday traveling to Fayette, Mo., for a doubleheader with Central Methodist University.
