Peru State scored through the air to tie the game before Kettle kept the ball himself to score on a 5-yard run to give the Ravens back the advantage. Peru State scored again through the air in the final seconds of the half to pull the game even at halftime tied at 21.

After recording a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown early in the third quarter, the Bobcats had their extra-point blocked to leave the door open for the Ravens. Kettle connected on his third touchdown of the game when he found Rayshon Mills on a 17-yard pass and then Matt Heinrich added a 34-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to cap off the Ravens scoring efforts and seal the win for Benedictine.

Mills led the Ravens rushing attack with 74 yards off 15 carries while Kettle finished with 64 yards off 13 carries. Kettle connected on 5 of 9 passing with an interception and three touchdowns as he finished with 88 yards passing.
