OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The Raven Women's Soccer team hit the road for the first time this season and moved to 2-0 in conference play with a shutout over William Penn University
The tandem of Ashley Rehagen and Olivia Berry combined for six saves over 90 minutes as the Ravens earned a 3-0 win over the Statesmen.
Benedictine (2-0, 2-0 Heart) led 2-0 at the break on a par of goals from Annabelle Hoog. Hoog scored during the 19th minute off an assist from Riley Degner and during the 30th minute off an assist from Rachel Beffa.
The Ravens added to their lead during the 73rd minute on a goal from Paulina Carles.
Benedictine finished with a 23-10 advantage in shots while putting 14 shots on goal.
The Ravens return to Legacy Field on Wednesday, hosting Heart rival Baker University at 5 p.m.
