DES MOINES, Iowa – Men's Soccer played to a scoreless draw on Wednesday against Grand View University.

Despite 10 shots on goal, the Ravens couldn't push a goal past Grand View keeper Felix Shafer through 110 minutes of action as they played to their first draw of the season.

Wednesday's match marked the third time the Ravens played into extra time and resulted in their first draw since Oct. 27 last year when they played to a draw at Graceland.

Daniel Wee registered the Ravens final shot on goal during the 107th minute of play but was turned away from the potential game-winner by Shafer.

The Ravens outshot the Vikings 12-9, which included a three-shot advantage in the second half. Girma Kassa led the Ravens with five shots, four on goal, while JJ Johannsen added three shots, two on goal.

Carlos Flores recorded two saves in 110 minutes in goal for the Ravens. 

Benedictine is off until Oct. 16 when they travel to Springfield, Mo., to take on the Evangel University Valor.
