SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Thursday's first semifinal of the Siloam Springs Bracket between (22) Raven Women's Soccer and (15) the University of Cumberlands (Ky.) went to a Shootout to decide its winner.
Cumberlands advanced 2/4 over 1/4 as Benedictine ended their season with a 0-0 draw to finish the year at 14-5-1.
Benedictine finished regulation with 7 shots, the final of which came from Kourtney Koc in the final seconds of the second half that nearly sent the Ravens into Saturday's bracket championship.
Olvia Berry finished the match with 7 saves in 110 minutes. Rachel Beffa, Riley Degner, and Hailey White led the Ravens with 2 shots each. Emma Applegate made the Ravens only goal during the shootout.
The return to the NAIA National Tournament marked the 10th overall appearance and eighth straight trip.
