After opening up their Spring schedule on the road, (RV) Raven Women's Soccer made the home debut on Saturday as they hosted former Heart member Avila University.
After 110 minutes of action, neither team could find the back of the net, as the Ravens return to Legacy Field ended in a scoreless draw.
The player of the match proved to be Avila keeper Madison Baker. Bake went the distance, turning away 15 shots on goal for the Ravens.
Benedictine finished with a 28-7 advantage in shots and a 15-5 advantage in shots on goal. Annabelle Hoog led the Ravens with seven shots, four on goal. Natalie Duque and Meagan Papin finished with four shots each while Riley Degner finished with three shots - all on goal.
Ashely Rehagen played the first half for the Ravens in goal, recording three saves. Olivia Berry played the second half and both golden goal periods with two saves and Benedictine limited Avila to just one shot over the two extra periods.
The Ravens return to action on March 13 traveling to St. Louis, Mo., to take on Missouri Baptist University.
