The Raven Softball team wrapped a six-game week with a pair of road sweeps on Saturday and Sunday.
Benedictine beat Graceland University 11-0 and 11-1 on Saturday in Lamoni, Iowa, before beating Peru State College 5-1 and 4-1 in Peru, Neb.
On the weekend, the Ravens hit .381 while holding their opponents to just three runs and a .187 batting average.
MacKenzie Pinkerton and Abby Pressgrove each went 2-0 on the weekend. Pinkerton finished with an ERA of 0.58 over 12 innings while Pressgrove finished with an ERA of 0.68 over 10.1 innings.
Three Ravens finished the weekend with a .500 or better average at the plate. Megan Medhus hit .571 going 8 of 14. Molly Chevalier was close behind at .538 going 7 of 13. Kaitlyn Fanning hit right at .500 after going 5 of 10. Fanning finished the weekend with two home runs while Madison Zaccardo and Blair Shanks added home runs of their own. Zacarrdo recorded four doubles, followed by Medhus with three. Fanning and Shanks added two doubles each while Chevalier finished with one.
Benedictine continues their road swing with a doubleheader on Wednesday at Park. They will finish up their road trip with a doubleheader at Evangel on Friday before returning to Ravens Field for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday against No. 6 Central Methodist University.
