WICHITA – Five members of the (7) Raven Men's Lacrosse team earned recognition late Wednesday from the KCAC for their efforts on the field this season.
Benedictine earned three first-team All-Conference selections and two second-team All-Conference selections after finishing the KCAC season in third place.
Joseph Doyle, Keaten Carney, and Tyler Santini were named to the first team. Doyle led the Ravens through the regular season with 52 points off 24 goals and 28 assists. Carney and Santini helped anchor the Ravens defensive efforts. Carney led the team with 20 caused turnovers while Santini added 14. Santini registered a team-high 49 ground balls while Carney finished the regular season with 21.
Brady Guck and Curtis Wesley were named to the second team. Guck finished the regular season with 39 points off a team-high 29 goals and 10 assists. Wesley was also part of the Ravens defensive efforts, finishing the regular season with 14 ground balls while also adding two goals and four assists.
Benedictine is hosting the 2021 KCAC Men's Lacrosse Championship this season where the tournament champion will earn an automatic berth in the 2021 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational Tournament.
