Raven Softball dropped their home doubleheader with (5) Central Methodist University.

The Eagles earned a 1-0 win in the opener before taking game two, 7-2, on Ravens Field.

Alex Gilham held the Eagles to just one run off five hits with four strikeouts in the opener with the one-run, a solo home run off the bat of CMU's Kelli Gorman.

Natalie Sheffield went 2 for 3 at the plate while Clare Heitz recorded a double.

In game two, Abby Pressgrove earned the start inside the circle. She threw four and two-thirds innings, giving up four earned runs off eight hits before Gilham finished out the game.

Megan Medhus went 2 for 3 with an RBI while Kaitlyn Fanning added the second RBI.

Benedictine remains at home for a pair of doubleheaders this week. They host Missouri Valley College at 1 p.m. Tuesday before playing their rescheduled doubleheader with Baker on Thursday.
