The Raven Football team opens their five-game home schedule on Saturday with a NAIA showdown against nationally-ranked Grand View University. Both teams enter Saturday with records of 1-0. Benedictine opened their season with a 35-13 win over William Penn University on the road while Grand View took care of Central Methodist University 37-10 at home.
Today marks the seventh meeting between the two programs. The Vikings lead the series 4-2 and enter play today with two straight wins over the Ravens. Benedictine last beat Grand View back in November of 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa, 25-13.
