After Mother Nature adjusted their schedule for them, Raven Softball added a doubleheader on Monday as they hosted Haskell Indian Nations University.
Benedictine picked up the sweep over Haskell taking game one by the final of 4-0 and game two by the final of 3-1.
Jenna Drish earned the start in game one inside the circle for the Ravens. She held Haskell to three hits over seven innings. After giving up a lead-off double in the top of the second, Drish retired the next 18 batters she faced to earn the complete-game win.
At the plate, Halley Rindom went 2 for 3 with a home run, Madison Zaccardo went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI while Megan Medhus finished with a double.
In game two, Clare Heitz earned the start inside the circle. Heitz threw the first five innings, holding Haskell scoreless before Kara Willoughby finished the final two innings.
Kassidy James and Natalie Sheffield each recorded a two-hit game at the plate with James and Medhus credited with an RBI each.
With Mother Nature turning back on the deep freeze, Tuesday's doubleheader with the University of St. Mary has been canceled. The Ravens are now scheduled to take on a pair of opponents back on Ravens Field this weekend, starting with Northwestern (Iowa) on Saturday and Morningside on Sunday.
