A day after splitting of Heart games on the road with William Penn University, Raven Softball suffered a sweep at the hands of Culver-Stockton College on Sunday on Ravens Field.
The Wildcats won game one, 2-0, behind the one-hitter from Emma Rosenberry. In game two, a three-run second inning allowed the Wildcats to earn the sweep beating the Ravens 4-2.
MacKenzie Pinkerton suffered the loss in the opener. She gave up 2 unearned runs off four hits with 6 strikeouts. Kylie Hays hit a double for the Ravens only hit against Rosenberry.
Megan Medhus recorded a double and RBI to score the first run of game two for the Ravens Alicia Armijo gave up 3 earned runs off 8 hits throwing the first 3 innings before Kera Willoughby finished off the final 4 innings. Willoughby limited the Wildcats to just 2 hits with a strikeout. Isabella Ingui went 2 for 3 with an RBI while Lenae Salinas finished with a double.
