SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Men's Soccer hit the road on Friday for the first team as they took on John Brown University.
Benedictine struck first but then John Brown battled back late to earn a 2-2 draw.
Dylan Posada scored the Ravens first goal of the season when he was able to capitalize on a free kick that gave assists to both Darcy O'Connor and Diego Acuna during the 33rd minute.
Benedictine to their 1-0 advantage into halftime and added to that lead during the 50th minute. JJ Johannsen scored on a cross from Daniel Wee and headed it through for the goal.
John Brown finished with a 22-9 advantage scoring their two goals during the 68th and 88th minutes of play.
Noah Reuscher went the distance in goal for the Ravens, finishing the match with 7 saves.
Benedictine remains on the road traveling to Kansas City, Mo., on Wednesday to take on Avila University at 5 p.m.
