COLUMBIA, Mo. – Women's Soccer returned to the road on Saturday for their second Top 25 matchup of the year as they took on Columbia College.
The No. 15-ranked Cougars got the better of the No. 22-ranked Ravens earning a 3-0 win.
Benedictine gave up two first-half goals after Columbia held a 5-2 advantage in shots at the break. Benedictine was able to pull even with 5 shots in the second half but Columbia was the only team to find the back of the net as they added a third goal during the 51st minute.
Rachel Beffa led the Ravens with 3 shots, 2 on goal. Olivia Berry suffered the loss in goal, recording one save as the Raven defense limited the Cougars to just four total shots on goal.
The Ravens remain on the road Wednesday, traveling to Avila University in Kansas City, Mo., for a 5 p.m. match with the Eagles before returning home on Saturday to take on Concordia (Neb.) University on Legacy Field at 5 p.m.
