BALDWIN CITY – (RV) Benedictine Women's Soccer extended their Heart shutout streak to 450 minutes on Wednesday night with a 1-0 win over Baker University.
Hannah Phillips broke through during the 71st minute to give the Ravens their second straight win over the Wildcats.
Benedictine held Baker to just 2 total shots, both on goal, and finished with a 25-2 advantage in shots. Riley Degner, Rachel Beffa, and Christine Znidarsic led the attack with 4 shots each while Znidarsic finished with a team-high 3 shots on goal.
Mackenzie Korzencki recorded 2 saves over 90 minutes to secure her seventh shutout of the season.
Benedictine hosts William Penn University at 2 p.m. Saturday on Legacy Field.
