ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Men's Soccer opened their season on Saturday with a 1-1 draw at (RV) Missouri Baptist University.
After the excessive heat canceled their opener on Thursday with Williams Baptist, the Ravens hit the road on Saturday to take on the Spartans.
Adem Aroua broke a scoreless draw in the 77th minute, scoring the first goal of the season for the Ravens on an assist from Diego Acuna.
Benedictine remained in the lead until the 83rd minute when the Spartans pulled even forcing the draw.
Noah Reuscher finished with 5 saves over 90 minutes in goal. The Ravens finished with 7 shots, three on goal by Carson Wilcox, Acuna, and Aroua.
The Ravens remain on the road Wednesday with a trip to Leavenworth, Kan., to take on the University of St. Mary.
