Benedictine Men's Soccer bounced back from a midweek loss on Saturday, taking down Culver-Stockton College 2-0 on Senior Day.
The Ravens struck first during the 22nd minute. After a corner kick opportunity, the ball remained inside the box for Benedictine. Pablo Gamboa sent it back through the box where Juan Mendez was able to spin around and push a shot inside the near post.
That's where the score remained through halftime and into the 63rd minute of play. Adem Aroua was able to split the Wildcats defense and pushed through the line to beat Culver's keeper David Gavriliak to make it 2-0 Benedictine.
The Ravens finished with a 29-6 advantage in shots while tallying 12 shots on goal.
Benedictine keeper Noah Reuscher recorded the shutout, playing all 90 minutes in goal with three saves.
The Ravens return to the road for their next Heart match, traveling to Dubuque, Iowa, to take on Clarke University on Friday, Sept. 29.
