Culver-Stockton holds (RV) Women's Soccer to scoreless draw on Senior Day

(RV) Benedictine Women's Soccer held a decisive advantage in shots on Saturday afternoon but couldn't connect on a goal against Culver-Stockton College en route to a scoreless draw on Legacy Field for Senior Day.

The Ravens controlled possession late in the match, recording 7 shots over the last 20 minutes of the match. Faith Lewis had a chance that was saved by Wildcats keeper Mackenzie Frizzell during the during the 81st minute. Jenna Wilken had the Ravens last shot on goal during the 86th minute that was also saved by Frizzell.

Christina Znidarsic had the Ravens final shot early in the 90th minute that was blocked and led to a corner kick from Rachel Beffa that proved to be the Ravens last chance to score.

Benedictine finished with a 22-5 advantage in shots that translated to an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal.

MacKenzie Korzenecki went the distance in goal for the Ravens, recording 2 saves in the shutout. Frizzell finished with 8 saves for the Wildcats.

Benedictine returns to the road for their next conference match, traveling to Dubuque, Iowa, to meet Clarke University on Friday, Sept. 29.
