Men's Soccer dropped a home matchup of top-25 teams Wednesday night.
The (19) Ravens lost to the (25) Baker University Wildcats, 2-0.
The Wildcats opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a nice pass in the box that led to a goal in the far corner of the net as the visitors took a 1-0 lead.
The Ravens tried to find a way to level the match but entered halftime still trailing 1-0.
As the Ravens pressed forward more in the second half in search of an equalizing goal, Baker struck on the other end in the 84th minute to double their lead to 2-0. The Ravens had some chances to find the back of the net, but were unable to break the Wildcats defense.
The Ravens fall to 8-3-1 on the season, and suffered their first loss in conference play, moving to 3-1-1 in Heart play. Next up for the Ravens will be a Saturday, Oct. 5 match at Graceland.
