Women's Soccer used two second-half goals Wednesday evening to secure their seventh-straight win.
The Ravens defeated the Baker University Wildcats, 2-0, earning a clean sheet in their fourth-straight match.
After a scoreless first half, the Ravens notched their first goal in the 63rd minute. Rebecca Slaten sent the ball into the box on a free kick and Caysi Brown made her run into the box, getting a touch on Slaten's cross and knocking it into the net to put the Ravens up 1-0.
Just a moment later, Mackenzie Korzenecki was called on to make her first save of the night, doing so on a point-blank shot by the Wildcats.
The Ravens doubled their lead in the 76th minute when Anna Bolger raced up the right side then slipped a pass across the face of the net, finding Christine Znidarsic for the insurance goal and a 2-0 lead.
The defense salted away the remainder of the game, keeping the Wildcats off the scoreboard. Korzenecki finished the contest with 2 saves.
The Ravens controlled the majority of possession in the first 45 minutes, but the teams entered halftime scoreless. The Ravens outshot the Wildcats 17-3 in the first half, including a 4-0 advantage in shots on goal. They finished the game with a 28-6 advantage in shots, and an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal.
