WACO, Texas—The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) released its 2024 NAIA All-America Team on Wednesday, and three members of the Benedictine Football team earned recognition.

Jacob Gathright was named first team, Isaac Anderson was named second team and JaShawn Todd was named second team.

Gathright was selected as a receiver for the Ravens. Through the NAIA Football Championship Series Quarterfinals, Gathright is averaging 100 yards receiving per game with 1,300 yards on 56 receptions. He also has 12 touchdowns and is averaging 23.2 yards per catch. His total yards set a new single-season program record for the Ravens while his career total of 3,737 yards also set a new record for career receiving yards.

Anderson has 42 tackles in 13 games on the defensive line. This season he has recorded 10 tackles for a loss of 42 yards and 6.5 sacks for a loss of 33 yards.

For Todd, his second-team selection is his second AFCA selection, as he earned a second-team all-purpose selection. In 13 games, Todd is averaging 115.2 all-purpose yards per game this season. He has a total of 113 rushing yards, 619 receiving yards, 245 punt return yards, and 520 kickoff return yards.

The three selections of Gathright, Anderson, and Todd mark the 86th, 87th, and 88th All-American selections for Benedictine Football. 

Benedictine takes on No. 1 Keiser University on Saturday in the Semifinals of the NAIA Football Championship Series.
