SEWARD, Neb. – The Indoor Season continued on Friday and Saturday for the Benedictine Men's and Women's Track & Field Program competed in the annual Concordia Classic. 

Over the weekend, three NAIA standard marks were reached by Owen Nolte, Leah Kuhn, and the Women's 4c800 meter relay team. Nolte won the Men's 3,000-meter Race Walk in a time of 14:10.46 to hit the NAIA A-standard. His efforts also resulted in him being named the Heart Indoor Track Men's Track Athlete of the Week. Kuhn also won her event, finishing the Women's 3,000-meter Race Walk. She finished at 17:23.96 to hit the NAIA B standard for the event. 

The Women's 4x800 meter relay team of Josie Jansen, Cecelia Campos, Gemma Downey, and Mary Cate Golden took second place in the event with a time of 9:38.27 to also hit the NAIA B standard.

In addition to the National Championship qualifying standards met, the program had some additional top finishes for both the Raven Men and Raven Women.

Men's Heptathlon: Joel Bichelmayer, 4145 - 1st place, Anthony Todd, 3902 - 2nd place, James Akins, 2989 - 3rd place
Weight Throw: Edward Swisloski, 6th place
Pole Vault: Kevin Taylor, 6th place
5,000 meters: Nicholas Kling, 6th place

Women's Results:
Cayna Love, 400 meters, fourth place; 60 hurdles, sixth place
Leah Kuhn, 3000-meter race walk, first place
Emilie Nelson, 3000 meters, third place
Catherine Aaron, 3000 meters, fourth place
Helen Ullrich, 5000 meters, first place
Julia Mertz, 5000 meters, second place
Ave Wolf, 5000 meters, fifth place
4x800 meter relay - Josie Jansen, Cecelia Campos, Gemma Downey, Mary Cate Golden
Madison Helton, triple jump, sixth place
Maria Connealy, Pentathlon, fourth place
Anna Campbell, Pentathlon, fifth place

The teams return to action this weekend, traveling back to Topeka on Friday and Saturday for a two-day appearance at the Washburn Open at Washburn University.
