Men's Basketball tops the century mark in home win

Men's Basketball put together a thorough win at home Wednesday night.
The Ravens defeated the Kansas Christian College Falcons, 113-65. It's the most points the Ravens have scored under head coach Ryan Moody.
The Ravens were firing on all cylinders in the first half, putting up 59 points in the opening 20 minutes. The home team shot 64.9% from the field in the opening half, and 44.4% from 3-point range, making 8 attempts from deep. The Ravens also outrebounded the Falcons, 25-14, forced 8 turnovers while committing just 3, and scored 12 points off those KCC turnovers.
The Ravens went deep on the bench in the first half, as 30 of their 59 points came from reserves. Drew Purdy led the way with 15 points in the opening half and Jack Vander Woude added 12 points.
The Ravens offense didn't slow down much in the second half. All 15 Ravens players scored at least 1 point as Purdy and Vander Woude tied for the team high with 18 points. They were joined in double-figures by Larry Parker III and Brycen LaRue who each scored 14, and Deaglan Sullivan with 12 points. The Ravens finished the game shooting 62.2% from the field and 43.2% from 3-point range. Purdy, Vander Woude and Parker each knocked in four 3-pointers.
The Ravens also had 35 assists on 46 made field goals. Preston Reynolds led the team with 6, Jared Lee and Harrison Kisling had 5 assists, each, and Bence Duka and Caleb Moss both dished out 4 assists.
The Ravens pulled down 47 rebounds on the night while keeping the Falcons to just 30 boards. Purdy had 11 rebounds to lead the Ravens and complete a double-double on the night.
Next up for the Ravens (2-2) will be their first conference game of the year when they take on William Penn University at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at home in the Ralph Nolan Gym.
