KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Volleyball earned four All-Heart selections on Wednesday as the conference released the 2025 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Team.
On top of two first-team selections, one second-team selection and one honorable mention selection, Wren VanCleave was named the Heart Setter of the Year.
VanCleave finished her first season with Benedictine with an average of 10.01 assists per set with a total of 1,071 assists. In addition to her Setter of the Year honors, she was also one of two first-team setters announced on Wednesday.
Barbara Terra joined VanCleave on the first team as an outside hitter. JoJo Vander Woude was named a second-team middle hitter and Kelley DeMeulenaere was named an honorable mention libero.
Terra led the Ravens with a 3.83 kills per set average this season. She finished her freshman season with 394 kills at a .213 attack percentage. Vander Woude recorded 200 kills at 1.89 per set, while defensively, she finished the year with 64 total blocks (7 solo blocks, 57 block assists). DeMeulenaere was among the conference leaders in digs this season, finishing the year with 490 at 4.76 per set.
Benedictine posted an overall record of 12-16 this season while going 8-10 in the Heart to earn a spot in the Heart Women's Volleyball Conference Championship as the No. 8 seed.
