KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Soccer has earned a home match in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 Heart Championship Tournament.
After finishing off the season Saturday with their 10th shutout of the season, the Ravens have earned the No. 4 seed and rematch with No. 5 seed Park University on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Legacy Field.
The two teams played their regular-season match in Parkville, Mo., on Sept. 20 where they played to a 1-1 draw. In that match, Benedictine held a 13-12 advantage in shots with a 5-4 advantage in shots on goal. The Ravens lone goal came during the 11th minute and was scored by Rowan Yows. The Pirates trailed until the 61st minute to earn the draw.
This will be the second time the two schools have met in the Heart postseason since the Pirates joined the conference in 2020. Two season ago, the Ravens hosted the Pirates in a Quarterfinal game and they earned a 3-1 win.
Wednesday's winner will advance to the Heart Semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 8 against the winner of the No. 1-No. 9 pairing of Central Methodist and Mount Mercy.
