Benedictine Volleyball earned its third straight win on Saturday morning as the closed out the weekend with a 2-0 record in Heart play.
The Ravens earned a sweep over Clarke University, 25-7, 25-14 and 25-14 to start off the Saturday slate of home games for Family Weekend.
Benedictine held Clarke to a negative attack percentage in the opening set as the Pride managed just 7 points in the loss. The Ravens countered with a .320 attack to set the stage for the match.
The Pride come out in the second set with their highest attack percentage of the match, and despite losing the second, they finished with a 16-14 advantage over the Ravens in kills.
Benedictine bounced back in the third set with their strongest attack, finishing with 15 kills at a .462 clip to finish off the Pride and finish the match with 39 kills and a .355 attack percentage.
Barbara Terra led a balanced attack with 12 kills, followed by Lucy Drexel with 9, JoJo Vander Woude with 8 while Bridget O'Sullivan finished with 6.
Wren VanCleave anchored the attack with 34 of the Ravens 39 assists while also leading the Ravens in digs for the second straight match with 12. Kelly DeMeulenaere added 11 digs while Lainee Mustain finished with 10.
The Ravens remain at home, playing a return match with pod opponent Peru State College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Ravens earned their first Heart win of the season back on Sept. 6 in Peru, Neb., with a 3-1 win over the Bobcats.
