Football earns No. 3 spot in NAIA Postseason Coaches' Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Football earned 407 points on Monday as the NAIA announced the 2025 Netting Professionals Postseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll.

Benedictine earned the No. 3 spot behind National Champion Grand View University (436 points) and NAIA runner up Keiser (Fla.) (422 points).

The Ravens posted an overall record of 12-2 this season with both losses coming on the road to Grand View University, including a 17-10 loss in the NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinals.

Benedictine finished 2025 ranked third in the NAIA in total offense (6,409 yards). They also finished fourth in passing touchdowns (36), rushing yards (3,157) and rushing touchdowns (44). They led the NAIA in total first downs (361) and ranked second in rushing first downs (197). The first down total set a new program single-season record passing the previous record of 340 set in 2018. They finished the season ranked second in interceptions (20) and fourth in tackles (881). 

Outside of Grand View and Benedictine, the Heart of America Athletic Conference earned a third spot in the postseason poll as William Penn University earned a top 20 ranking at No. 12 with 276 points. MNU (22 points) and Baker (6 points) were listed in the receiving votes category to round out the Heart programs listed in the poll.
