The (4) Ravens earned a 10-1 win over William Woods University to open up Homecoming Weekend in impressive fashion on Friday night on Legacy Field.
Benedictine's last 10-goal match came in a 10-2 win over Avila University on Sept. 6, 2023.
The Ravens finished with 32 total shots in the win over the Owls, holding William Woods to just four.
Maura Maher scored a hot trick for the Ravens. Maher scored the first goal of the match off a corner from Isabel Agudelo with a header during the 3rd minute. She scored the third goal off an assist from Teya Bigknife, this time with her feet, during the 34th minute and the converted another assist from Agudelo during the 75th minute to cap off her 3-goal effort.
The Ravens got two goals each from Payton Vogelbacher (15', 53') and Mollie Finley (87', 90'). Brynn Carroll (48'), Bigknife (58') and Jenna Wilken (69') rounded out the scoring for the Ravens. Agudelo finished with 3 assists, Bigknife and Anna Bulger added 2 assists each while Vogelbacher added the final assist.
Emma Smith finished the match with 1 save, while allowing 1 goal over 90 minutes in goal for the Ravens.
Benedictine closes out the regular season on Oct. 28, hosting Central Methodist University at 5 p.m. on Legacy Field.
